This year marks NWR's Golden Anniversary. Meetings in gold are themed as part of this celebration.

 

Each meeting will have an individual co-ordinator who, unless otherwise stipulated, will be the hostess. Contact the appropriate member with any queries about meetings.

                        20 years, is to have turned hundreds of industrial

                        wasteland into country parks and nature reserves.

                        Choose one. What was it like, what has been done

                        and what does its future look like? Eg Dinnington,

                        Wath and Manvers, Dearne Valley, the Waverley

                        site, Silverwood, Denaby, Parkgate Canal, Rother

                        Valley etc. How can the town build on this and

                        change its image?

                         historical walk with commentary round the

                        Silverwood area. Meet at 6.30 at The Cavalier

                        car park on Hollings Lane, Ravenfield.

23rd July        A celebration night with 60's themed food and drink.

                        Please bring a photo of yourself from that decade,

                        and a favourite piece of 60's music, Judith will provide
