Mexican Evening
We held our Mexican evening on Tuesday 19 th February. This was an NWR National topic, and we had some materials supplied by the Bury St Edmunds Group via the National Office.
I talked a bit about my trip to Mexico, and displayed various books, photos and souvenirs.
We also had some Mexican themed snacks, and sampled some tequila-based cocktails. The tequila sunrises (very pretty!) and margaritas went down particularly well.
Helped, or maybe hindered, by these, we tackled the quizzes and crossword.
I’m interested to hear that since the meeting, two members have booked a trip to Mexico!
