Everyone chose a favourite carol and did some research on the origin of the carol. A brief summary of a carol's origin was read out and then we gathered round the piano to sing it. We started off a bit squeaky but by the end of the evening voices had got stronger and a future as a ladies' choir beckoned!

We finished off the evening with mince pies, cheese and mulled wine. It may have been the mulled wine that dulled the senses and made us sound quite musical but we prefer to believe we improved with practice.
